Madi Trigilio

Madi Trigilio is an arts leader, choreographer, and educator committed to empowering the next generation of dancers. She is a graduate of Elon University with a B.F.A. in Dance Performance and Choreography and a B.A. in Arts Administration, with a minor in Business Administration. Throughout her career, she has performed across the United States and in Florence, Italy.

In 2022, Madi participated in the American Dance Festival’s Dance Professional Workshop: Creative Process and presented her work in Ash & Elm Dance Co.’s concert, Astronomy. As a Rhoades Grant recipient, Madi debuted her full-length contemporary dance work, The Matriarchy: Stories of Womankind, in March 2024. In the fall of 2024, Madi completed an Artist Residency as a Guest Choreographer at Hamilton College, where she created and set an original work on Hamilton students for their Fall Dance Concert. She has also choreographed professionally for various performances and events throughout the Southwest Florida community.

Madi serves as the Assistant Company Director at Spotlight Dance Company, where she teaches, choreographs, mentors dancers, and supports the continued growth of the company. She is an Acrobatic Arts Certified Instructor and is currently completing her Balanced Body Pilates certifications, further expanding her knowledge of movement, strength, and technique.
