Our daughter Bo joined Spotlight Dance Company about a year ago, and it has been such a special experience for our family. From the very beginning she felt welcomed, excited, and inspired. Over this past year we’ve watched her grow so much—not only as a dancer, but also in her confidence and friendships. The teachers are incredibly talented and truly care about the girls and their progress. They bring great ideas and really encourage the girls to support one another and stay connected, which creates such a positive team environment. What also makes Spotlight stand out are the thoughtful events and little things they plan for the dancers. It goes beyond just dance classes—it shows how much heart they put into the studio and the kids. What means the most to me as a mom is that Bo is always excited to go. There is never a week where I must convince her to attend practice—she is genuinely happy to be there. She loves her teachers, the amazing girls she dances with, and the energy of the studio. Seeing her walk in smiling and come out laughing says everything. There is nothing more rewarding as a parent than watching your child truly thrive and be happy. I’m also very grateful for how kind and supportive everyone at Spotlight has been—from the owner to the teachers and assistants. It really feels like a wonderful community. We feel so fortunate that our daughter has found her dance home at Spotlight Dance Company. Ms. Jenna, Ms. Madi, and all of her instructors strike the perfect balance between being supportive and encouraging while also holding the dancers to high expectations both inside and outside of the studio. Our daughter is excited to go to every single class and jumps at every new opportunity offered. She has grown so much this past year. Her time at the studio and with these incredible people is shaping her confidence, discipline, and character. We couldn’t be more thankful for the positive impact this studio has had on her.

Spotlight is the absolute best dance studio in Naples. Shortly after their opening, we “accidentally” 🤣 joined Competition team (followed a best friend/classmate to the studio and there was one available spot on their mini team). My daughter (6 at the time, now 8) had been dancing elsewhere for several years. Her technique was non-existent but she was confident on stage and she was good at memorizing choreography. Within a couple months, she was completely obsessed with all things Spotlight and wanted to be at the studio every waking minute (she still does). The growth we have seen in her as a dancer and her path to becoming a well rounded, focused, goal driven, and disciplined kid is inspiring. The studio teaches incredible technique and the dance classes are equal parts fun and educational. They expect your child’s attention and focus and in return will repay you ten-fold by returning your child to you with a love for dance, learning high level dance education, respect for their instructors, as well as building confidence that will carry them throughout their lives. Spotlight makes their competition team feel so special and loved. It is a wonderful sisterhood that I was not expecting. The entire studio is welcoming and supportive and I would argue that you cannot find me a Spotlight dancer with low self esteem. It is truly a place where every girl feels celebrated, safe and at home. My toddler daughter is also dancing at Spotlight recreationally. I don’t know if her future includes competition team but for right now, she’s having fun and learning a lot. Whichever path is chosen, it’s a wonderful foundation for young girls eager to dance. Communication from the studio is excellent, even for my Type A standards. Class schedules, pay schedules for competition, and special events are well thought out and planned far in advance. There are no surprises with expectations on either end and the entire staff makes themselves available at all times in order to help with questions, receive feedback, absolutely anything we need. I cannot recommend Spotlight enough. 🩷🖤

Never have I ever loved a dance studio more than I love Spotlight. This competitive team has taken my daughter’s skill level to a place I honestly did not expect this quickly. Her technique, strength, and performance quality have improved in an almost unbelievable way. The growth has been incredible to watch. But what means even more is her confidence. She feels challenged, supported, and proud of herself. The girls truly feel like a family and the environment pushes them to be better while still being kind. We are beyond grateful to be part of Spotlight.
